The WONDER Project

The WONDER Project is a unique and transformative service for women in Norfolk, that we are delighted to be working on, in partnership with Julian Support and The Sue Lambert Trust.

The project is aimed at diverting women out of custody and the criminal justice system, by effectively engaging with women on a conditional caution. Doorway Women’s Services has a Link Worker who will support women to identify the needs and issues that have led them to come into contact with the criminal justice system, and to connect or reconnect with relevant services in the community.

WONDER seeks to make services and support in the community more accessible to some of the most marginalised and vulnerable in society. The project is available in the Wymondham and King’s Lynn police custody facilities, where women are referred on a conditional caution; the option to self-refer for support is also available.
