AGM

A successful AGM; a low-key event for members & friends; held next door in the King's Centre; a very pleasant evening. We are pleased to officially welcome Lucy Macleod to the board of trustees. On a sadder note, it was time to say goodbye to Barbara Drake, who has been such an ambassador for The Magdalene Group over a number of years.

As an organisation we take all possible steps to safeguard our clients and to ensure that the adults in our organisation are safe to work with our clients. The Magdalene Group uses the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) service to help assess the suitability of applicants for positions of trust. The Magdalene Group complies fully with the DBS Code of Practice regarding the correct handling, use, storage, retention and disposal of Certificates and Certificate Information. It also complies fully with its obligations under the Data Protection Act 1998 and other relevant legislation pertaining to the safe handling, use, storage, retention and disposal of Certificates and Certificate information and has a written policy which is available to those who wish to see it on request.
