Young Women's Outreach Worker

We are seeking an exceptional staff team who can deliver this cutting-edge work, deal effectively with challenging situations and behaviour, build sustained positive relationships and provide the best possible outcomes for young people as they transition into adulthood.

We seek a Young Women’s Outreach Worker who will be responsible for engaging with and providing appropriate emotional and practical support to young women experiencing, or at risk of, sexual exploitation. The post-holder will work intensively with vulnerable young women – who may be homeless, rough-sleeping or sofa-surfing – in a trauma-informed way to safe-guard them and reduce risk of further exploitation.

You will have experience in working with vulnerable clients, and can deal effectively with challenging situations and behaviour and build sustained relationships to engage young people.

Must have a sound understanding of the safe-guarding legal framework for young people and be confident in lone-working situations.

Salary: £20,860 FTE.

Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week.   Including some early morning, evening, and weekend working.

This role will be working throughout our CSE service range.

The Rose Project offers specialist support to ‘at risk’ young people, victims of child sexual exploitation and to young people who are reported missing in Norfolk working in partnership with Police and Children’s Services.

EnRoute is a new therapeutic supported accommodation service for females, aged 16 – 18, who have been affected by child sexual exploitation.

We are seeking an exceptional staff team who can deliver this cutting-edge work, deal effectively with challenging situations and behaviour, build sustained positive relationships and provide the best possible outcomes for young people as they transition into adulthood.

We seek a CSE Practitioner who will be responsible for developing safe, professional, supportive and nurturing relationships with the young people. You will be required to compile assessments and implement individual therapeutic interventions, whilst supporting young people to recognise risk and develop resilience using approved therapeutic methods of intervention.

You will have experience in working with vulnerable clients, and who can deal effectively with challenging situations and behaviour and build sustained relationships to engage young people in education, training and life skills. Must have a sound understanding of the safeguarding legal framework for young people and be confident in lone-working situations.

Salary: £18,000 – £23,000 FTE.

Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week. Including some evening, weekend and bank holiday working.  We would request a commitment to a minimum of one sleep-in per week, with further sleep-ins/night waking, in response to client need.

We are seeking an exceptional workers who can deliver this cutting-edge work, deal effectively with challenging situations and behaviour, build sustained positive relationships and provide the best possible outcomes for young women as they transition into adulthood.

The Magdalene Group is looking to develop a bank of staff to support the needs of this project.

Our approach is to safeguard young women in a community setting, where they can learn how to manage risk, receive specialised therapeutic support, develop resilience and self-esteem, whilst living somewhere welcoming, nurturing, homely and safe.
