Women's Services Manager (Doorway Project)

The Magdalene Group has been supporting women affected by sexual exploitation and coercion for over 25 years and has built an excellent reputation for building trusted relationships with some of the most marginalised women in society.

Women experiencing multiple disadvantage, sexual violence and abuse can face many barriers to accessing support due to stigma, prejudice and a lack of understanding of their needs. Our expertise in this field ensures we are well-placed to recognise the routes into sexual exploitation and to provide gender-responsive and trauma-informed support for women who face these intersecting issues.

The Magdalene Group is looking to employ a Manager for our Doorway Women’s Services who will work collaboratively across the organisation in a management role as well as direct case work.

We are seeking someone who has experience of managing a team of frontline practitioners in a similar role or field relating to women who experience sexual exploitation, sex work and multiple disadvantage. The Doorway Women’s Services Manager will be responsible for managing the day-to-day running and line management of a multidisciplinary team of specialist gender and trauma informed practitioners.

The successful candidate will be required to build and maintain partnerships with stakeholders through networking opportunities and attendance at multi-agency meetings, groups and forums where you will be required to highlight key issues relating to our field of work.

Salary :  £27,500 – £30,500 per annum fte.

Hours of Work : 37.5 hours per week. This is a full time post which will require flexibility with occasional early mornings and late evenings in order to meet client need.

The post-holder will be based within the Doorway Women’s Service and will engage with women to ensure they understand and can address the barriers they face to successfully manage their tenancies. The post-holder will raise awareness with partner agencies ensuring women have access to specialist support from a range of services.

Salary : £22,500 – £26,500 per annum fte.

Young People's Child Sexual Exploitation (CSE) Practitioner (Rose Project)

Our expertise makes us well-placed to recognise the routes into sexual exploitation and provide effective prevention, early intervention and exit services for those affected.

We are seeking a CSE Practitioner to join our dedicated Rose Project team which provides a range of specialist trauma-informed services to children and young people who are affected by child sexual exploitation (CSE) in Norfolk. We work with children from primary school age to 18 years old. We are passionate about transitional safeguarding and ensuring that young people continue to have support post 18 years old for sexual exploitation, sexual violence and coercion. We also have a transitional service which supports young women aged 18 – 25 which bridges our young people’s and women’s services.

Salary :  £22,500 – £26,500 per annum fte.
