Head of Service Development

Our expertise makes us well-placed to recognise the routes into sexual exploitation and provide effective prevention, early intervention and exit services for those affected.

We are seeking to employ a Head of Service Development to formulate and drive a consistent approach towards business development and contract management within the organisation. This is a senior management position and the successful applicant will work with the CEO to deliver effective outcomes in this diverse and wide-reaching role which will provide the successful applicant with an excellent opportunity to make their mark on a growing charity.

Salary : £28500 – £32000 fte, dependent on experience.

Hours of work : 22.5 hours per week minimum – 30 hours per week maximum, to suit.  This post will involve occasional evening and weekend working.

Our expertise makes us well-placed to recognise the routes into sexual exploitation and provide effective prevention, early intervention and exit services for those affected.

EnRoute Supported Accommodation is an aspirational and therapeutic supported accommodation service for females, aged 16 – 18, who have been affected by child sexual exploitation.

We are seeking exceptional workers who can deliver this cutting-edge work, deal effectively with challenging situations and behaviour, build sustained positive relationships and provide the best possible outcomes for young women as they transition into adulthood.

Our approach is to safeguard young women in a community setting, where they can learn how to manage risk, receive specialised therapeutic support, develop resilience and self-esteem, whilst living somewhere welcoming, nurturing, homely and safe.

Experience in working with vulnerable clients, and who can deal effectively with challenging situations and behaviour and build sustained relationships to engage young people in education, training and life skills. Must have a sound understanding of the safeguarding legal framework for young people 16+ and be confident in lone-working situations.

Salary : Rates ranging from £8.21 – £10.00 per hour, dependent on experience.

Hours of work : Full time : 37.5 hours per week; part-time to suit; hours include evening, weekend and bank holiday working; flexibility required around shift patterns; on-call also required.  We would request a commitment to a minimum of one sleep-in per week, with further sleep-ins in response to client need.
