Sexual Health drop-ins
26 April 2019
The Rose team have been delivering sexual health drop-ins over the past few months to young people across Norfolk with funding from Public Health. In these sessions we’ve used a variety of inter-active games, activities and resources to educate young people on contraception, STIs, healthy relationships and staying safe. We aim to create an engaging, open space for them to ask questions and as a result we have had many positive inter-actions with young people and staff alike.
Well-being event at Hellesdon High
26 April 2019
"A team from the ROSE Project attended a Well-being event at Hellesdon High School on Thursday 25th April. We had some great inter-actions with young people and gave out lots of our new booklets, and spoke to parents and teachers to raise awareness about the project. We were there with dozens of organisations from across Norfolk who are working with young people, so it was a great chance to hear about the great work they're all doing too. Thanks to Hellesdon High for inviting us!" Jess Rolfe, Outreach Worker

Go Ape Activity Day
23 April 2019
"This was our first time to Go Ape outdoor activity and Morwenna & I had a wonderful time, with our group of young people. The staff were very helpful and I was very impressed with how well they organised the trip. We felt safe and the facilities were great; tidy, clean, also the sandwiches were very delicious! The staff are friendly and patient and have given us lots of help without pressure and promote a collaborative approach to achieving goals. The feedback from our young people was positive. We will be back for even more fun!" Olga Filatova, CSE Practitioner

"Really enjoyed the training today. The trainer made everyone feel comfortable. Learning structure was good, great idea to bring the team together. The trainer had a good understanding of the materials, it was practical and informative. Personally for me the workshop helped to build confidence. I would definitely recommend the course! The lunch was very tasty!!" Olga Filatova, CSE Practitioner.

"Thanks ever so much for sending in your final quarterly report. It is amazing as always to read of all the women you have supported, and will continue to support now the grant has ended. It has been such a pleasure to work with The Magdalene Group and an honour to support the incredible work you do." Kind words from the Tampon Tax Fund, whose three-year grant has supported our Doorway Women's Services.
Anchor Project Launch
03 April 2019
"On Tuesday 2nd April, the Doorway team attended the launch of a new multi-agency domestic abuse project called the Anchor Project. Headed by Leeway, the partnership includes Orwell Housing, Change Grow Live and The Matthew Project. The aim is to support victims of domestic abuse in the best way possible, particularly the most complex cases where there might be multiple needs. It was great to hear about local partnership working and to speak to so many other services at the event. Thanks for having us!" Abbie Haines, Outreach Worker
