NSCP Safer : Introduction to Safeguarding Children Training

A morning's safeguarding training with Tina Garwood from Norfolk Safeguarding Children Partnership. At the heart of what we do, so a refresher in this subject always welcome; a good trainer, & - as expected - plenty of lively interaction from the team.

Summer sessions for professionals

Our popular occasional sessions for professionals continue through the summer months; hosted by members of our Rose & Doorway teams, they provide not only an opportunity for us to share the work of The Magdalene Group, but also for professionals from other agencies to talk about their roles and experiences, & between us we can share best practice. Next sessions will take place from 10 - 11 a.m. online, on Tuesday 22nd July, Wednesday 20th August & Wednesday 24th September. If you would like to attend, please e-mail support@magdalenegroup.org or contact the office on 01603 610256 to book a place, as numbers are limited.

"Thank you to The Mercers' Company for hosting us at their Grantee Reception - and an added bonus of displaying The Magdalene Group's work as contributing to societal change. It was good to meet other grant beneficiaries." Suzi Heybourne, CEO

"What an inspirational evening. The finale was incredibly moving, remembering so many women who have lost their lives at the hands of violent men. I look forward to the time when evenings like this are no longer necessary and we can all live in peace and harmony. Sadly, there is a long way to go before we get there but thanks to The Magdalene group for organising events like this which keep the issue on the agenda." Yvonne Ross, Trustee
