High Sheriff’s visit

"Suzi and I were delighted to welcome the new High Sheriff of Norfolk, David Flux, and his wife Lisa to The Magdalene Group on 11th June . Although based in the west of the county, they are very aware of the problems facing women and girls in Norwich and as we work over the whole of Norfolk they were really interested in hearing about what we do. As parents of girls, they were particularly impressed with the Jigsaw project and the importance of educating young people into understanding what is right and wrong, use of the internet and healthy relationships.

At their reception last Sunday I talked to them both and they reaffirmed their appreciation of The Magdalene Group and thanked all the staff for their hard work and dedication."
