A welcome visitor
02 April 2025
Marie-Lyse, a practice care coordinator, was a welcome visitor to the young people's team meeting earlier this week. She has been working with refugees & unaccompanied asylum seeking children & has lived experience of having to flee her home country; she gave us such an insight into what life may look & feel like for refugees and asylum seekers who live in the UK. Her personal story is inspirational and gives hope to young people that, with the right support in place, they can start dreaming again. Mary-Lyse is a strong advocate for young people and for the right services to be put in place to meet their needs.
