Safeguarding Children from European Migrant Families training from NSPC

'This training was a great opportunity for us to discuss and reflect on the meaning of 'culture', and the impact that it has on individuals and families. We explored how we can better engage with European migrant families, and the challenges that this might raise for safeguarding. It was a really helpful session to brainstorm ideas about communicating across language barriers, respecting cultural values, and fostering trust between the social services and the families that we work with.' Eve Wright, Student Social Worker
