Asda Foundation : Green Token Giving

The Asda Foundation's Green Token Giving programme gives shoppers the opportunity to support and celebrate the community groups who matter most to them, so we were delighted to hear that we came second in the vote at Asda Norwich, receiving a cheque for £400. Thank you so much for voting for us!

MAP Celebration of Youth event

MAP held its Celebration of Youth event at the Norwich Arts Centre recently, presenting a showcase of the wonderful variety of youth work they do across Norfolk. Voluntary sector professionals, local government representatives and other partners were invited to attend to celebrate and learn more about the activities provided to support young people’s social wellbeing and personal development. As always, the event was led by young people, centred around their experience of youth work. "It was a great networking event to understand all of the wonderful projects MAP are running and meet the faces on the frontline. There are projects that we had never heard of which we are excited to start making use of for our clients!" Lauren, CSE Practitioner, who attended alongside young people's team colleagues, Laura & Jacqueline.

Best Practice Session

One of our regular best practice sessions this morning – with useful presentations from some of our colleagues from Doorway & the Rose Project – outlining terms of reference for MACE & MARAC & MASH & NIDAS & VAS. Subjects of partnership-working & referral processes & information-sharing with multi-agency to support our services-users were well-covered & well-illustrated by Maria & Lauren (Rose) and Beth, Lydia & Imogen (Doorway.) Well done ladies – really helps our overall understanding.
